Sources

NOAA NCEI Storm Events flood-related records are held in a dated 1996–2025 snapshot. FEMA Disaster Declarations Summaries, Public Assistance Funded Projects Details, NFIP Claims and HMA Subapplications are read directly from the public OpenFEMA APIs. Each response names its source, period or version, retrieval time and page boundaries.

Qualifications

Storm damage estimates, project amounts, obligations, claim payments, coverage and requested funding measure different things. Records from different sources are not automatically the same event. Missing records do not establish absence of a disaster or loss. This service provides historical public records, not current warnings, forecasts, or property, insurance, eligibility, engineering, legal or safety determinations.
